Indigo airline has a selection process for students who want to be a pilot in Indigo. A cadet mandatorily has to go through the selection process and it begins with 4 rounds of selection:
ROUND 1
The Cadet Pilot Program consists of written exam on the basis of English, mathematics & physics.
ROUND 2
Psychometric + CASS basically a skill and personality test for cadets whether they are mentally prepared and as well they can perform multitasking in intense pressure. The test will include flying skills with the help of joystick and throttle, fly from the tube, math and many more.
ROUND 3
In group discussions or group tasks, a group of students is given a topic to discuss or a task to complete. This helps invigilators understand the candidates' team management and leadership skills.
ROUND 4
The personal interview consists of a panel round with HR and technical questions. The questions will be based on aviation basic knowledge and personal life experiences
